In March my daughter, Gabriella became a Bat Mitzvah, and it was a magical day for our family. I was fortunate to have an amazing event planner, Stacey Moe. Stacey was with me from the beginning, helping to design Gabi’s logo and decide on a theme. She was also really great about working within our budget. Stacey helped me with everything including designing the flower arrangements, centerpieces and set up of the decor including the candy table. In addition, she worked really well with all of our vendors to ensure the day went off without a hitch!
Stacey did most of the decor herself with assistance from Centerpiece Productions. Larry Neiman was great about personalizing many of his pieces to showcase Gabi’s logo, colors, and theme! The Wow Factor provided some decor as well with an Instacam photobooth, glow cotton candy, and of course 4 foot lite-brites. Kids were eating up the cotton candy as quickly as Jonathan could make it! Rinat Melton also provided entertainment by using glow-in-the-dark paint to draw fabulous designs on faces and arms of adults and kids!
Circle of Life was a our caterer and Avrum was wonderful about being able to make whatever we wanted for our menu. The dessert was amazing with 3 chocolate fountains and a huge variety of foods for dipping. Raising The Candy Bar some yummy Candy Sushi for the candy table.
The first vendor that my daughter selected was our MC from Monster Entertainment, Wes Owens. He taught both of my children Hip Hop and was great with kids of all ages. We had energetic dancers, T, Espuppy, and Taye and DJ Big Daddy who entertained throughout the night. Since it was a glow party, Kasper from Monster Entertainment set us up with amazing lighting both on the walls and in the room along TVs to add to the décor.
North Shore Photography took pictures at the synagogue and party. Anna was wonderful at getting my daughter to be comfortable during a photo shoot for her photo book. The book was a unique way for people to write their well wishes to Gabi.
I spent a great deal of time at Xpress Video Productions shooting a concept video and weeding out a massive amount of pictures for her montage. I would really like to thank all of the people who worked on those videos, Dave, Danny, Vince, Jeff, Patrick and Pete. I was fortunate to get to work with them behind the scenes as they were editing the videos and they were absolutely wonderful about all of my suggestions. North Shore Photography and Xpress Video Productions worked well together as the concept video and montage were being designed.
Finally, Marsha Ulrich and Faces By Nikki did my family’s hair and makeup so that we would all look great that day! Toula at Pascal Pour Elle spent lots of time with my daughter to make sure she had the exact hair style she wanted for pictures and the party.
Thank you so much to all of our vendors who made Gabi’s Bat Mitzvah a magical experience!
