My sister and I planned and hosted a B’nai Mitzvah celebration for our daughters. We did all the decor ourselves–my sister created beautiful centerpieces from materials she bought at craft stores, Goodwill and Amazon.

My sister and I hosted an amazing double bat mitzvah celebration for our daughters. We created and set out our own decor, but we are so grateful to the vendors who helped make our event a huge success:
Terri Cohen of Write UR kicked it all off with her beautiful invitations;
Bizar Entertainment and his amazing, energetic, friendly, smart team made it rock and got everyone on the dance floor; Jody Garland Photography captured every amazing moment (and her pre-shoot provided us with such beautiful photos for our sign-in books); Dawn Bizar kept us stress-free on the event day and kept everything running smoothly;
Chevy Chase Country Club (a historic venue that’s part of the Wheeling Park District) provided the stunning and perfect venue–staff was friendly and accommodating, food was among the best we’ve ever had at a large event (250+ people were there!);
Diane Steinmetz and Debbie Weinger beautified us; Gurnee Doughnuts and Bent Fork Bakery added to the Chevy Chase sundae bar; and Mazel Security went above and beyond. We also used BestofSigns to create a 3×5 banner with the girls’ logo. Oh, and Embassy Suites Deerfield was our top-notch home base for our out-of-town guests.
All in all, everything was fantastic.
