Many younger siblings look to have a completely different celebration from their older siblings, but not Dylan! He loved everything about his older brother’s, and insisted on using the same venue, DJ, photographer, and planner. So, my challenge was to create a totally different party with so many of the same components…and we succeeded!

Our theme was “Dylan’s Got Game,” which was a perfect way to combine Dylan’s loves of soccer and Xbox. From the moment the guests walked in on an AstroTurf “green carpet,” to the step and repeat banner that made the perfect photo background, the custom SnapChat filter featuring Dylan’s amazing logo (thank you Mariam Torres!), the custom gaming chair sign in board, to the magnificent taco wall (already did the donut wall with my first), every touch was perfection. Austin’s is the perfect venue for a non-stop party, with such amazing lighting and great food! I loved the unique options, like the out of this world pot roast fries, and food service using stadium hawker boxes.

Brad Blumenthal and his team literally brought the Energy all afternoon long- our guests never left the dance floor and Dylan was SO happy to have all of his favorite songs playing throughout the party. Energy provided the photo booth as well, and it was high quality and so fun to see all the photos. Brad literally makes each party unique and custom to the Bar Mitzvah child, and we are so grateful for his warmth, fun, and expertise!! Our photographer, Kyle, travels the world photographing nature, weddings, and more, and we were so honored to have his amazing eye and fun-loving self capturing our day!

I cannot rave enough about my planner, Stacey Moe! Though party planning is my dream job and I handle most of the prep leading up to the big day, there is nobody I trust more to not only execute my vision, but enhance it. Her creativity, ability to find the perfect memorable touches, and her non-stop work ethic helped me enjoy the party without spending a second worrying about the details. I own a personalized business and made all of the decor and many of the dance floor giveaways myself (water bottles, hats, koozies, shirts, etc.), but wanted something extra-special for the party favors, and Aliza Sperling knocked it out of the park.

I love old school sweet tables, and was so happy with our custom candy bar, using candy pails as containers, mini donut bar with milk bottles and straws, Carol’s Cookies bar with six varieties of their full-size decadent deliciousness, and the made to order liquid nitrogen ice cream bar, courtesy of WDS Desserts. Since it was a December Bar Mitzvah, our guests loved the final sweet treat- a take home hot chocolate mix kit featuring custom marshmallows with Dylan’s logo. It was truly a spectacular day surrounded by our beloved family and friends!
